Kitchen Curtains

Now that you have researched which kitchen curtains are the best for you and have settled on the best fashi that compliments your kitchen and overall interior design it's time to hang your curtains. Many people used the wrong methods of hanging their kitchen curtains. Here are some tips:

Using old-fashioned coat hooks
These can be attached to metal coat hooks right above your window and these will do a great job to hold your kitchen curtain. The next step is to attach curtain rings or fabric ties right at the top of the kitchen curtains. This keeps them in place. If you have time and additional creativity you can use bows or silk flowers to compliment the design and these can also be attached using.

Using glass or brass door knobs.
This is a common methods especially if you do not have a lot of expertise in this area. Check with antique dealers or gift stores and they can provide you with old doorknobs. Whether they are matched or not does not matter. Then next thing to do is to attach them above the window where the curtains will hang. Then tie the kitchen curtains to the knob using fabric ties. If you also have a coat rack, this can also work her.

Good ol' spoons
This may sound funny but you can use spoons or forks which you don't need or no longer use. For example, if you have spoons and forks that have been bent while scooping ice cream.  Instead of throwing away these, use them to hand kitchen curtains. To attach, use a pair of pliers to bend the utensils more and get them to the shape you want.

Cup hooks.

This is very innovative. Do you have cups that you no longer use? Their hooks can act as excellent kitchen curtain hangers! You can paint them a bright color. The way you do this is to simply attach them to the curtains and slip over the cup hooks! They also look great and save you a lot of money

Pins
When you buy clothes, they come with pins. Use these to attach the top of the kitchen curtain to a simple  cord across the top of the window where you want the curtain to be. To make them not look so obvious, you can  paint them a colorful acrylic or simply leave the wood the way it is.

Wire
Wire is a very common way of attaching kitchen curtains. You can use the same concept you use when hanging wall pictures.  You can also the all-too-common eye screws that you use to attach pictures at the backs of frames. You can use that same equipment to hang curtains- the ones with tabs across the top. You can thread the wire through the tabs then through the eye screw. You can attach the eye screws to each side of the window frame. The simply tighten the eye screw.
